Green Pastures Square Meater Stud Farm

The Southern Highlands Home of Square Meater Cattle

ShellyLaughingCRED4RED1RED2SHELLY: You might say it's 'udderly ridiculous,' but that Collin has been lurking about with his camera again, pointing it at our mammary glands! Perhaps he has a problem ... although I'm guessing HIS problems are OUR problems to the extent that we're all beginning to wonder whether these blessed calves will EVER appear.
The others - that's Michaela and Hazel - reckon I'm pretty close to full term - or beyond it - with clear indications that was making a milk shake down there as I waddle up the lane today.
Due to someone leaving a gate open, we've made it to the laneway paddocks between Hammer Hill (where we were) and the Home + Holding Paddocks (where we now appear to be going).
There's plenty of juicy pasture nearly everywhere, which makes something of a mystery of why Collin should have picked a sort-of bouquet for Fran in the over-the-hill Wild Meadow ... the one place where the grass certainly isn't greener!
Ah, I've just been informed it was to let her apply the proceeds of her very-close-to-being-celebrated horticulture diploma to evaluating what's to eat over there. But, regardless, it did make a good picture, don't you think? Due to someone leaving a gate open, we've made it to the laneway paddocks between Hammer Hill (where we were) and the Home + Holding Paddocks (where we now appear to be going).

OUR NEXT MEAT

We'll soon be taking orders for our next meat deliveries.

Those who bought any of our meat packs last time around will be advised directly of what will be available and dates for pick-up or delivery.

New customers are welcome! Information on meat pack options will be forwarded on request to fran@greenpasturesfarm.com.au

As last time, all processing will be closely supervised in line with our view that animals we breed for food need to be treated with respect, and subject to minimal stress.

Certainly, the latest steers being grown for our family, friends and neighbours have been enjoying a relaxed lifestyle, with plenty of sunshine, feed and water aplenty.
